I am an inventor and designer with over 70 US patents. I am always looking for ways to improve things. My wife is a “stamper” and can sit for hours creating some of the most beautiful cards you will ever see.
One of her tools is the MISTI, which stands for “Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented”. The repeated and constant rubbing of her palm on the surface of the MISTI causes her pain and fatigue. She had seen some one of a kind tools used to relieve the pressure and asked me to design her a tool that is
ergonomic
and lightweight. Thus the KIMS
tool was invented.
(Kinetic Inducing Muscle Solace, see below), I know it is a stretch, but my wife’s name is Kim!
My wife just started using this on background stamps and she says it also helps her apply even pressure to large stamps.
There are a variety of colors available and custom can be ordered. If you want a custom color then you need to send me a message. Custom colors are limited to colors on hand and could add a week to the delivery.

Thank you so much for inventing this tool, it is perfect and so light weight that I love it! I have the Tim Holtz stamp platform and a Misti but I love the Tim Holtz one better, this tool works perfect on both and really saves my hand, I have arthritis and of course it is hard to put pressure on these platforms especially with a giant stamp with your hands when they do not work right, you rock! This tool is great. I have arthritis in my hands and this
makes a big difference.
Because 3D printing material colors are not consistent with each supplier, the color you receive may be a little different from the ones pictured.

Each KIMS tool takes over 2 hours to 3D print!
As is normal for FDM 3D-printing; there may be gaps, protrusions and imperfections in the surfaces of the print (see photos), but none of these imperfections will impede the use. I try to cut off any
anomalies
that may interfere with the grip. If I miss some, a piece of sandpaper or file will easily smooth the area.
